I graduated from Klein High School in Houston, Texas in 1978. I did my pre-pharmacy requirements at Angelo State University from 1978 to 1980; then graduated from the University of Houston with a B. S. in Pharmacy in August 1983. I met my wife, Kim, at Angelo State in 1978 and we were married in December 1981. Kim practices Real Estate with Dierschke and Dierschke Realtors and is also a Pre-K teacher. We have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. Tara, who resides in San Angelo with our grandson, Ketcher, is a graduate of Angelo State with a Masters in Psychology. Lauren lives in San Antonio with her husband, Cody, and our granddaughter, Ali Rose. Having graduated with a Business/Marketing degree from Angelo State in '08, she is presently a stay-at-home Mom. Our third daughter, Courtney, attends the University of Alaska in Anchorage on a gymnastics scholarship. She is working toward a teaching degree and one day would like to own a gym and coach gymnastics. Our son, Jared, is attending the Art Institute of Austin with plans on earning a degree in Digital Video Production.
Having been a practicing Pharmacist in Nacogdoches, Texas since 1983, my family and I decided to move to San Angelo in October 1995 to join the family business with my sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Doug Eakman, and Doug's father, Chick Eakman. As of January 2008, we began an ownership transition from Mary & Doug to me. As owner and Pharmacist-in-Charge, my goal is to continue the principles of our founder, Chick, and Mary and Doug that have helped shape our business over the years. Also, I want to strive for excellence in service to our customers, doing our best to meet their needs, and to always be "the most accessible professionals in the city."
